Top returners: Sr. SS Keri Sylva, Sr. 1B Brittany Bigos, Jr. P Jessica Collins, Jr. 3B Mariya Johansen, Jr. OF Amanda Pedro, Soph. SS Kara Rebello, Soph. OF Kenzi Pimental, Soph. C Courtney Almeida.

Key newcomers: Soph P/OF Britny Costa, Fr. C Casey Lopes.

Outlook: The Lady Bears have to replace catcher Courtney Rebello and outfielder Desiree Richard, but have everybody else back from a team that won the state vocational tournament last season. Collins was 14-7 a year ago, and returns as one of the top pitchers and hitters in the area. The team made big strides on defense last season and Gracia is looking for more good things on offense from Shurtleff and Bigos, who has good power.
